We're excited to release our green policy priorities - our 2021 New York State Policy Agenda.

Now that all of the absentee, early voting, and election day ballots have been counted, we’d like to update you on results.

We expect 2021 to be a year in which the federal government takes decisive action to help New York State achieve its nation-leading climate goals.

More than 125 organizations including NYLCV joined together to hold a virtual lobby day in support of a range of environmental programs. Cutting environmental funding in 2021 would be pennywise and pound foolish, and we were glad to find on November 10th that so many of our state legislators agree.

Today we announced our final round of endorsements in the 2020 election cycle - 17 candidates with exceptional environmental records.

We released a report with the Citizens Budget Commission identifying existing fiscal policies at odds with the goals of the landmark Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA).
