Rebecca Seawright

Rebecca Seawright is running for re-election to the State Assembly in New York’s 76th District. Seawright is a strong supporter of environmental justice. She has voted in favor of legislation to improve and increase electric vehicle charging infrastructure. She is also a strong advocate for offshore wind, and the development of clean energy projects. Seawright also prioritizes clean building codes. Within her district, Seawright supports composting programs, including hosting weekly green markets with compost dropoff and she has been a vocal supporter of solar-powered composting bins available on streets. Additionally, Seawright supports her neighborhood’s Community Emergency Response Team, which focuses on increasing resilience. If re-elected, Seawright will continue to support sustainable transportation, clean energy, and water quality.
