
Rachael Scheinman
Rachael Scheinman is the Founder and President of Scheinman Strategies LLC, a New York-based consultancy focused on public-private partnerships, civic engagement, and mission-driven campaigns. Raised on Long Island and now based in Brooklyn, she brings a cross-regional lens to community-centered development, with a focus on turning big ideas into shared wins.
With roots in organizing and political campaigns across New York State, Rachael has built a career helping coalitions align across sectors and geographies. Her work includes economic development and workforce strategy – with a focus on aligning labor, environmental, and community interests in policy and investment decisions. She’s worked on complex stakeholder engagement efforts in areas ranging from offshore wind to small business recovery to long-term care.
Prioritizing optimization and workflow, Rachael also consults on applying cutting edge tools, including AI, to help her clients improve efficiency and expand impact.
Rachael contributes a focused belief in collaboration and trust-building in every project she touches. She began her career at the Sierra Club’s national office in Washington, D.C., where she supported press strategy and environmental lobby efforts. She is a proud alumna of American University and holds a Master’s Degree from Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Rachael serves as a board member of NYLCV.
