Executive Vice President of Logan Bus Co. Inc. & Affiliates, the largest privately owned school transportation company in New York State. Muirhead is credited with putting the first electric school bus on the NYC streets and attributed for being the first school bus company to run a stop-arm camera pilot program in New York State. Muirhead has a proven track record of increasing the company’s revenue and profitability, as well generating new revenue streams by diversifying Logan’s portfolio of businesses. He is a strong leader with extensive experience in business management, business development, government relations, public relations, and crisis management. Additionally, Muirhead has proven himself to be a skilled strategic planner in both macro/micro project management, as well as an effectual negotiator with a pragmatic approach to achieving favorable company outcomes in difficult negotiation settings of an estimated 4,000 lives.

Muirhead has achieved an impressive list of personal accomplishments, including being named to the 2021 City & State Transportation Power 100 List, 2020 City & State Magazine’s “40 Under 40 Rising Stars” in NYC Politics and a 2019 Long Island Business News “30 Under 30” award for bright and dynamic young professionals ages 30 or under, who contribute to the Long Island community through public service and who have made significant strides in business. Muirhead was awarded the 2020 Roger Weeks New York School Bus Contractor Association’s Contractor of The Year Award, the highest award in the New York State School bus industry for the tireless work he did on behalf of the private industry during the COVID pandemic.
