Stacey Pheffer Amato

Stacey Pheffer Amato is running for re-election to the State Assembly in New York’s 23rd District. She has always been a strong supporter of the environment. She prioritizes water quality and natural resource protection and has worked with local groups such as the Jamaica Bay Rockaway Park Conservancy to organize several beach cleanups. She is also passionate about restoring the shoreline and transitioning to clean transportation and energy. Within the Assembly, she fights to make transitioning away from natural gas affordable, advocates for adequate funding for the Environmental Protection Fund, and supports offshore wind efforts. If re-elected, she will continue to support clean transportation, zero waste, the protection of natural resources, and more.
