Pat Ryan

Congressman Pat Ryan is running for re-election in New York’s 18th congressional district. Ryan is a longstanding advocate for the environment. He prioritizes ensuring clean air and clean water for everyone. During his time in office, he has demonstrated his commitment to environmental causes by fighting to protect the region’s waterways by calling for the removal of all PCBs from the Hudson River. Ryan has also worked to conserve and protect the National Parks system, including the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area, through increased funding.  He has introduced legislation to combat PFAS in drinking water and household items and to fund the removal of lead pipes. If re-elected Ryan will continue to advocate for environmental justice, ensuring clean air, soil, and water for all.
