Kristen Gonzalez

Kristen Gonzalez is running for re-election to the State Senate in District 59. Gonzalez is a strong advocate for the environment. Prior to entering the Senate, she worked to set a historical precedent to prevent future fossil fuel infrastructure. Gonzalez is fighting to secure substantial funding for renewable energy, public transportation, and climate resiliency projects. She supports the development of offshore wind projects, cutting transportation-related carbon emissions, and eliminating fossil fuel from buildings that contribute to asthma. If re-elected, Gonzalez will continue to support water infrastructure free from lead, implement recycling standards to ensure increased waste reduction, and prioritize policies that get us to a clean energy economy.
