Jeremy Cooney

Jeremy Cooney is running for re-election to the State Senate in District 56. Cooney understands that we are facing a climate emergency, and has taken aggressive action to combat climate change. He is an advocate of accelerating the transition to clean transportation, including increasing access to electric vehicles in communities of color. Additionally, Cooney has worked to ensure clean energy is used in buildings. He supports increasing recycling infrastructure, implementing more green jobs, and securing adequate funding for a series of environmental projects. Cooney hopes to reduce barriers to advancing solar projects, ensuring a just transition to renewable energy. If re-elected, Jeremy Cooney intends to continue supporting environmental policy in the State Senate.
