Emily Gallagher

Emily Gallagher is running for re-election for State Assembly in New York’s 50th District. Prior to her election, she was a dedicated environmental activist. Since taking office, she successfully championed legislation which bans the use of fossil fuels in new construction. In addition, she has supported programs to fund the MTA and fought against cuts to clean water funding. Her track record of environmental advocacy and legislative accomplishments make her a formidable advocate for sustainability and clean energy in the State Assembly. If re-elected, Gallagher will continue to push for policies needed to meet the state’s energy goals for 2030 and beyond.
