Catalina Cruz

Catalina Cruz is running for re-election to the State Assembly in New York’s 39th district. Cruz has been a longtime advocate for the environment. She has fought to combat rising oceans, establish community disaster relief and aid, protect infrastructure in the case of a disruption to the energy grid, and more. Cruz supports the development of electric vehicles for public transport and school buses. She has personal experience working in food pantries and fighting against food insecurity, which has led her to prioritize waste management and reduction. She is committed to creating green jobs and bolstering climate education programs. Additionally, she is a proponent of creating stricter regulations of chemicals in high concern to children. If re-elected, Cruz will continue to advocate for green buildings, access to clean drinking water, and resource protection.
