Joseph Addabbo Jr.

Joseph Addabbo is running for re-election to the State Senate in District 15. Throughout his career in public service, Addabbo has made the environment a top priority. As a civic president for the Ozone Tudor Civic Association, Addabbo spearheaded several local clean-up events. He continued to prioritize these initiatives as a City Councilmember, sponsoring recycling and coastal debris-removal events. As a former member of the Senate Environmental Conservation Committee, Addabbo is the prime and co-sponsor of legislation to ban the practice of hydrofracking, protect Jamaica Bay, and create a seawall storm study. If re-elected, he will continue to support legislation for the advancement of clean transportation infrastructure, offshore wind projects, climate change adaptation and resilience, clean water efforts, and more.
