Harvey Epstein

Harvey Epstein is running to represent District 2 in the New York City Council. As an Assembly Member, Harvey has championed bold climate action in Albany, proudly supporting landmark legislation like the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) and the All-Electric Buildings Act. Harvey has authored key environmental laws—including a ban on styrofoam coolers, compost-focused waste reforms, and expanded EV charger access—earning perfect scores from the New York League of Conservation Voters. Beyond Albany, he’s partnered with local groups like the Lower East Side Ecology Center for over 30 years, promoting composting and e-waste recycling to help New Yorkers live more sustainably.  If elected, he will continue advocating for policies that protect the environment.
