Amy Paulin
Amy Paulin is running for re-election to the State Assembly in New York’s 88th District. Paulin has always been a strong supporter of the environment. As a Trustee on the Scarsdale Village Board, she worked to preserve open spaces and wetlands in Scarsdale Village. She carried these environmentalist efforts into her work as an Assemblymember. As Chair of the Assembly’s Energy Committee, she focused on creating incentives to encourage the use of alternative energy sources, decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. She continues to support offshore wind projects and fought to increase the state’s offshore wind electricity generation targets. She co-sponsors legislation to transition to clean fuels, to require public transportation systems to purchase only zero-emission buses, and to increase zero-emission car sales. If re-elected, Paulin will continue to support tightening building energy codes, climate resiliency efforts, green jobs, and more.
