Liz Krueger

Liz Krueger is running for re-election to the State Senate in District 28. Since taking office in 2000, Krueger has championed the environment, implementing policies to tackle climate change and fracking, cleaning New York’s waste stream, and encouraging the development of renewable energy resources. She has also carried legislation to hold fossil fuel companies accountable, requiring the state to divest from fossil fuels, and banning polystyrene food service ware and plastic bags. If re-elected, Liz Krueger intends to continue prioritizing environmental initiatives.
