Micah Lasher

Micah Lasher is running for election for State Assembly in New York’s 69th District. Lasher has a rich history of being an environmental champion. During his tenure as Governor Hochul’s Policy Director, Lasher advanced numerous pro-environment policies and proposals within the Executive Budget. Additionally, as Director of State Legislative Affairs for the City of New York, he negotiated funding opportunities for the city’s green spaces and worked to transition the state away from high-emissions heating. Not only has he supported these initiatives in his professional career, but he also serves as the Chair of the Riverside Park Conservancy helping keep green spaces in the city. If elected, Lasher has the knowledge and drive to make pro-environmental initiatives a reality.
