Tina Posterli

Tina Posterli is running for election to the State Assembly in New York’s 20th district. Posterli is a strong advocate of the environment, evidenced through her work at both the Riverkeeper and Waterkeeper Alliances. Working in communications at those two organizations, Posterli led successful advocacy campaigns to ban hydraulic fracturing in the State of New York. As a Long Beach City Council member, Posterli prioritized the environment, pushing for investments in flood prevention infrastructure and sewage system renovations, helping to prevent the discharge of wastewater and effluent into Long Beach’s waterways. If elected to the Assembly, Posterli would continue to advocate for the environment, focusing particularly on holding polluters accountable.
