Lea Webb

Lea Webb is running for re-election to the State Senate in District 52. Webb is a strong supporter and defender of the environment. Throughout her career she has fought to protect our natural resources. Prior to her election to State Senate, she was a community organizer in Binghamton, working to build grassroots power to fight for environmental issues. Webb has consistently worked to build an equitable and environmental future, from removing blighted properties and supporting their redevelopment into homes, to addressing food desert issues by establishing community gardens, and an urban farm, establishing a city-wide climate action plan. In the Senate, Webb has shown her dedication to clean energy and public transportation, zero-waste initiatives, green jobs and education programs, food security, and more. If re-elected, Webb will continue to secure funding to ensure climate-change resilience, water quality protection, and environmental justice.
