Dana Levenberg
Dana Levenberg is running for reelection to the State Assembly in New York’s 95th District. Levenberg prioritizes the environment in her role as a legislator and member of the Environmental Conservation Committee. She has fought to protect natural resources, preventing 1.5 million gallons of radioactive wastewater from being discharged into the Hudson River. Levenberg has practice facilitating public outreach for environmental protection; she led an educational forum for seniors in Westchester, hosted a Town Hall meeting on environmental issues, and featured Sustainable Westchester in her “Building Healthy Communities” podcast series. Levenberg also supports the expansion of offshore wind, decarbonizing buildings in New York, support for mass transit, and increased food scrap recycling. If reelected, she will continue to be a fierce advocate for environmental protection.
