Jessica Gonzalez-Rojas

Jessica González- Rojas is running for re-election to the State Assembly in New York’s 34th district. González-Rojas is a strong advocate for environmental justice and serves on the Committee of Environmental Conservation and as the Chair of the Subcommittee on Climate Action and Environmental Justice for the NYS Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Asian Legislative Caucus.  Before her election in 2021, Jessica González- Rojas worked with farmworker women whose reproductive health was impacted by pesticides. As an Assemblymember, she has advocated for environmental policies; she fought to secure pedestrian and cyclist access to bridges and stations to encourage sustainable transportation. If re-elected, Jessica González- Rojas will continue to advocate for environmental justice issues and support funding for legislation addressing climate change.
