Sean Ryan

Sean Ryan is running for re-election to the State Senate in District 61. Ryan has always worked to advance pro-environment policy and legislation. Throughout his time in office, both in the State Assembly and Senate, Ryan has secured record funding for clean water and invested in brownfield cleanup initiatives. Ryan has supported funding for electric vehicle fleets, is an advocate of expanding recycling and waste reduction efforts, and has introduced legislation which funded the clean up of the Scajaquada Creek in Buffalo. He has also introduced legislation for utility workers to provide weatherization updates at a low cost to homeowners, ensuring that homes are insulated. Ryan is a strong advocate for environmental protection and climate change resilience. If re-elected, Ryan will continue to prioritize the protection of natural resources and resilience against climate change.
