Over 100 regional business leaders, elected officials, environmentalists, and NYLCV supporters, gather to celebrate environmental progress in the region and strengthen our shared commitment to New York’s environment.
With the Environmental Bond Act on the ballot this November, New York voters have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to improve quality of life, modernize infrastructure, and safeguard clean drinking water. The largest environmental bond act in State history, the Clean Water, Clean Air, Green Jobs Bond Act authorizes $4.2 billion to fund critical environmental restoration projects throughout the state in four categories: Water Quality & Resilient Infrastructure, Open Space Conservation & Recreation, Restoration & Flood Risk Reduction, and Climate Change Mitigation.
The Bond Act would:
Safeguard clean drinking water, our most priceless resource
Support nearly 100,000 family-sustaining jobs
Update infrastructure including roads, sewers, and drinking water pipes
NYLCV is the only statewide environmental organization in New York that fights for clean water, clean air, renewable energy and open space through political action. We're non-partisan, pragmatic and effective.
