While her investments in infrastructure and decarbonization are steps forward, they fall far short of the bold action needed to tackle pollution, hold corporations accountable, and meet New York’s climate goals. Without a strong cap-and-invest program, the NY HEAT Act, and increased support for clean energy, the governor’s plan lacks the urgency and leadership New Yorkers deserve.”
