Angela Swatek
As Senior Director of Development, Angela leads NYLCV and NYLCVEF’s fundraising activities including building a development plan to guide the organization toward sustainable growth and revenue diversification. She manages the organization’s grants, develops strategy for donor stewardship for all levels of giving, supports the highly successful corporate partners program and works with the Development and Events Associate on the annual gala and cocktail parties. Angela previously worked at NYLCV as the Program Director from 2017-2020 and returned to the organization in 2023 to focus solely on fundraising and to help the organization strategically grow by identifying new opportunities for funding. Angela has a decade of experience fundraising for nonprofit organizations of all sizes, closing multi-year gifts and securing grant funding for conservation and social justice efforts. Previously, she has worked with the Montana Conservation Voters, Threshold Podcast and the Community Service Society of NY among others. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Philosophy from the University of Montana and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from SUNY Oneonta. In her free time you can find her hanging with her family, hiking in the woods or practicing yoga.
