The New York League of Conservation Voters Gives Green is proud to announce its endorsement of Landon Dais in the special election for State Assembly in New York’s 77th District.
“It is clear that the environment and climate change are moving up the ladder of issues that voters prioritize when choosing their candidate,” said NYLCV President Julie Tighe. “We are thrilled to endorse Landon Dais for State Assembly and we are confident he will be a strong advocate for clean energy, green jobs, and a healthier future, and we urge voters to support him in the special election.”
If elected, Dais will work to enhance the state’s water quality by modernizing our aging water infrastructure, enforcing regulations against pollutants, and addressing lead contamination. He is also committed to increasing access to the ballot box, expanding New York’s renewable energy capacity, and implementing robust and effective composting and recycling programs to address waste, which are all top NYLCV priorities.
Early voting for the special election starts on February 3 and Election Day is on February 13.
