In response to Governor Cuomo’s speech today at ABNY, the New York League of Conservation Voters released the following statement.
Julie Tighe, President of the New York League of Conservation Voters, said, “We are thrilled that Governor Cuomo today called congestion pricing and reforming the MTA as the best and smartest choice to fix our transit. Congestion pricing is the only solution to our public transportation crisis that will also reduce traffic, improve air quality, and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. As momentum for congestion pricing builds in the State Legislature, we will continue to advocate for this common sense solution that will fix our subways, buses, and commuter rails.”
