17 of the 20 municipalities in the Westchester Smart Power program, an initiative of the Sustainable Westchester Group, have agreed to terms with ConEdison Solutions to supply 90,000 homes and businesses with fixed-rate, clean energy.

Residents are submitting their own plan for the East Harlem rezoning, through an effort led by Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito. The rezoning process, part of Mayor Bill de Blasio's Affordable Housing Plan, raised a few alarms after its announcement.
