We hope you can join us for our Annual Gala – and this year we’re planning to be in person together again! We’re celebrating on Wednesday, September 29th from 6pm-10pm, and assuming public health measures allow for such events once again, our event will take place at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers.
We are excited to honor EDF Renewable and the New York State Laborers’ Organizing Fund and their director of public affairs Vincent Albanese. We will be joined by keynote speaker Attorney General Letitia James.

Chelsea Piers staff will be checking proof of vaccine upon arrival. Guests who are not vaccinated or fail to provide proper vaccine identification will not be allowed inside the venue.
For proof of vaccination, you can use:

- NYC Vaccination Record – or other official immunization record from within or outside the U.S., including from your health care provider. A photo or photocopy of this card is also acceptable.
- NYC COVID Safe App – You can upload to this app a photo of your CDC vaccination card or other official record, along with your photo ID.
- Excelsior Pass (or Excelsior Pass Plus). To use this app, you will need the phone number or email address associated with your NYC vaccination record. If you are unable to use this app, try one of the other options listed above.
If you need assistance with the apps please email Emily Poole at epoole@nylcv.org. We will have NYLCV staff available upon arrival to help troubleshoot any technological issues.
With this practice – no masks or social distancing will be required. However, guests are more than welcome to wear masks – we will provide NYLCV branded masks for all who want them. Our staff is doing everything in our power to ensure this celebration is safe and enjoyable. We not only appreciate your generous support of NYLCV but also respecting this public health requirement.
All NYLCV staff, event venue staff, and outside vendors will be required to have shown vaccine proof as well.
