It’s an exciting time for the environment in New York City: greener buildings, renewable energy, well-funded neighborhood parks, and cleaner waterways. Our work to push these forward is gaining momentum but there is still so much more to be done.

We are thrilled to present NYS Energy and Finance Chair Richard Kauffman with an award for Leadership and Innovation in Clean Energy. Kauffman has been the driving force behind New York’s Reforming the Energy Vision program, a groundbreaking initiative to reform and restructure the utility industry. We will also honor Invenergy LLC as our Corporate Honoree, for their work in helping New York achieve it’s clean energy goals. This year’s nonprofit honoree is Solar One. The organization is on the front lines of educating New Yorkers about sustainability and making sure that clean energy is accessible to all. We’re beyond pleased to be honoring them for for fostering innovation to create sustainable urban environments.
This year, we will have New York State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie as our keynote speaker. Speaker Heastie has been an outstanding advocate on behalf of New York’s environment.
