NYLCV/NYLCVEF's annual Gala draws over seven hundred environmentalists, business leaders from the energy and environment sectors, philanthropists, politicians and government officials from across the state each year.  Your participation as an honoree will highlight your efforts as a champion for the environment before the key players and stakeholders of New York's environmental community.

We recently co-hosted a virtual town hall with mayors from four states in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan. The mayors called on Congress to pass the Build Back Better $3.5 trillion infrastructure and climate plan, highlighting the family-sustaining union jobs that would be created with a transformational investment in clean energy.

We're excited to share that our endorsed candidate for Albany Mayor, Kathy Sheehan, and East Hampton Supervisor, Peter Van Scoyoc, won their primaries! Some results in New York City are still pending. 

Today we announced our final round of endorsements in the 2020 election cycle - 17 candidates with exceptional environmental records.

Today we announced our third round of endorsements in the 2020 election cycle, endorsing 16 candidates with exceptional environmental records, including Mondaire Jones in the race to replace Rep. Nita Lowey (CD-17).

This Spring, we endorsed over 100 candidates with outstanding environmental records.

Scores of Niskayuna residents attended our candidate forum this month to hear Supervisor Yasmine Syed (R) and her opponent Town Board Member Lisa Weber (D) as they answered questions posed by moderators and NYLCV Capital Region Chapter Board Members John Greenthal and Peter Trimarchi.
