Vedat Gashi

Vedat Gashi is running for re-election as legislator for Westchester County’s 4th district. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in implementing updates to the bus fleet and establishing EV charging infrastructure. He has overseen the development of climate-resilient buildings and upgrades in water quality facilities. He also supports local farm/food organizations such as Feeding Westchester, Hilltop Hanover, and Muscoot Farms. His commitment to educating about adverse environmental impacts is demonstrated through his development of school education programs about plastic usage and alternatives. If re-elected, Gashi aims to promote these initiatives further and improve upon each municipality’s Climate Smart Communities certification.
