Tony Goncalves

Tony Goncalves is running for re-election as Supervisor of the Town of Lewisboro. Since his election to Councilman in 2018 and then Supervisor in 2021, Goncalves has led multiple efforts to promote sustainable opportunities for Lewisboro. These include the effort with the Town Board to authorize the approval of the installation of EV Chargers at Town Facilities including Parks, and the effort to permit local hamlet organizations to utilize Town property for the creation of a neighborhood pocket park. He also secured EPA funds for the water treatment plant. Goncalves worked with Lewisboro Land Trust and NYC DEP in turning old rail lines and creating a community trail. He was also a strong advocate for the Community Choice Aggregation program with Westchester Power and promoted renewable energy as the default source. If re-elected, Goncalves will continue to work with the sustainability community to understand and implement the changes required to reduce Lewisboro’s carbon footprint.
