Ron Kim

Ron Kim is running for re-election for Mayor of Saratoga Springs. Since his election in 2021, Kim has accomplished a variety of environmental goals, like obtaining a Climate Smart Grant that allows for a carbon footprint audit of the City’s operations to develop strategies for future carbon neutrality and a grant for solar power implementation. Additionally, he has supported efforts to protect the City’s Greenbelt and open space and parks. If re-elected, Kim will continue his environmental efforts, including exploring funding for environmental resilience projects based on recommendations from a committee which he formed in his first year to evaluate the City’s infrastructure.
