Ron Kim

Ron Kim is running for re-election to the State Assembly in New York’s 40th district. Throughout each of Kim’s terms in office, advancing a pro-environment and pro-conservation agenda has remained a top priority. He strongly supports the development of clean energy, advocating for the increased development of offshore wind projects. Kim also advocates for clean transportation, understanding that transportation is a leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions in New York State; he believes that it is necessary to establish and encourage the use of zero-emission vehicles. In addition, he fully supports waste reduction initiatives, fighting to hold producers accountable and give greater support for local recycling efforts. If re-elected, Kim will continue to advocate for increased funding for the environment, protecting green jobs and creating green education programs, limiting toxic chemicals, and more.
