Robert Holden

Robert Holden is seeking re-election to represent District 30 in the New York City Council. He is dedicated to finding solutions to environmental challenges. He has advocated for the strengthening of green infrastructure in the city through improving the maintenance of existing green spaces and creating new infrastructures like bioswales to increase the city’s resiliency against stormwater flooding. During his time in office, he has also taken legislative action toward lead poisoning prevention, requiring city agencies to inform the community, schools, and local elected officials if lead is found during a city project. If elected, Holden would work towards reducing emissions and promoting renewable energy, alongside other environmental initiatives.
