Peter Harckham

Peter Harckham is running for State Senate District 40 and has been the incumbent since 2018. Alongside Governor Hochul, Harckham passed legislation that requires all automobiles and light vehicles sold in New York to be zero-emissions by 2035. Harckham has continuously received perfect scores on his environmental scorecard throughout his time in office. If re-elected, Harckham promises to continue passing legislation for sustainable transportation.
