Since becoming Supervisor in 1991, Reiner has expanded the open space in Greenburgh from 200 to 600 acres. Feiner has proved that he is a proponent of alternative forms of transportation, implementing new sidewalks and bike lanes throughout town. He has supported the additional purchase of electric vehicles for the municipal fleet, as well as pushing for charging stations at new developments. Regarding renewable energy, Feiner has advocated for making it easier for residents to use solar panels, as well as pushing for more solar panels at town facilities. If re-elected, Feiner will continue to support a new bike line to the Mario Cuomo Bridge and strengthen zoning codes that will protect homes in vulnerable flood areas.
