Pamela Panzenbeck

Pamela Panzenbeck is running for re-election for Mayor of the city of Glen Cove. For over 30 years, Panzenbeck was an educator in Levittown, teaching business and computer science. After retiring, she has served as a Glen Cove City Councilwoman for three terms. During her tenure, the city has installed Solar Panels on two buildings, LED Lighting in parking garages, and a dual port electric car charging station. She was also involved in the Clean Energy Community designation implementation, which included energy benchmarking, a unified solar permit, training for building officials, and other initiatives. The City of Glen Cove recently committed to becoming a Climate Smart Community and adopted the Climate Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Strategic Plan for the Western Gateway project. If re-elected Mayor, she plans to explore recycling textiles and promote projects that incorporate multiple energy-efficient features.
