Nantasha Williams

Nantasha Williams is seeking re-election to represent District 27 in the New York City Council. During her time in office, she has worked to maintain the natural ecology of local parks, and has championed the expansion of the NYC Compost program, advocating for participation in composting. Currently, she is working with other councilmembers to properly implement post-Sandy waterfront resiliency plans. If re-elected, Williams will prioritize a transition to renewable energy and transportation alternatives, including expanding car share, increasing ridership in the LIRR, and the Fair Fares NYC program.
