Marjorie Velazquez

Marjorie Velazquez is seeking re-election to represent District 13 in the New York City Council. Throughout her time in office, she has fought environmental injustices, through providing funds to cap the Cross Bronx Expressway and bringing healthier food into the Bronx. She has been the sponsor for multiple bills including those which allocate funds for clean water, clean air, and green jobs. If elected, Velazquez will work to facilitate the implementation of Local Law 97, support policies that prioritize the shift to clean transportation infrastructure, and advocate for the creation of green jobs.
