Kyle Simmons

Kyle Simmons is running for Legislator in Albany County’s 25th district. As a board member on the Town of Colonie Significant Environmental Areas Management Appeals Board, Simmons has played a critical role in promoting the planning and development of the natural and manufactured watercourse and adjacent lands. He has worked alongside other committed individuals to ensure the local environment, recreational, cultural, visual, and historical amenities are protected and preserved for future generations. If elected, Simmons believes in taking actionable steps toward promoting sustainable development practices and reducing greenhouse gases and will work with schools, restaurants, and municipalities to develop comprehensive waste reduction plans to increase recycling rates and educate our community about proper waste disposal methods, composting, and waste diversion.
