Julie Won

Julie Won is seeking re-election to represent District 26 in the New York City Council. Through her time in office, Won has worked on an array of initiatives to modernize and decarbonize the infrastructure of Western Queens, remediate pollutants, and improve environmental justice. She supports the construction of heat pumps in the city, zero waste goals, and the expansion of access to community gardens. If re-elected, Won hopes to obtain greater funding and resources for Queensbridge and other NYCHA developments, establish more micro parks in Queens, and further improve and implement the Queens curbside compost program.
