Jon Kaiman

Jon Kaiman is running for election as Town Supervisor of North Hempstead. As the former Town Supervisor, he established a school recycling program that engaged tens of thousands of students. He supports environmental education and policy initiatives emphasizing our responsibility as environmental stewards. If elected again, Kaiman plans to advocate for offshore wind development, upgrade energy infrastructure to reduce the town’s carbon footprint, and work to transition to 100% renewable energy. He will build on his previous record in waste management and explore other ideas to support a sustainable and environmentally-friendly community.
