Jewel Williams Johnson

Jewel Williams Johnson is running for re-election as legislator for Westchester County’s 8th district. She has been a passionate advocate for the environment while serving on the Environment, Energy & Climate Committee. Legislator Johnson has held a flood tour in the district to address flooding issues and remediation of problem areas with the Town’s Commissioner of Public Works. She has also worked closely with all the school districts to confirm their education programs on sustainability and health eating is up to standards. She supported and approved the Board’s resolution supporting the $4.2 billion Clean Water, Clean Air, Green Jobs Environmental Bond Act. If re-elected, Jewel will continue to be a staunch advocate for the environment.
