Iwen Chu

Iwen Chu is running for an open seat in State Senate District 17. Chu personally drives an electric vehicle and uses a reusable water bottle. Chu understands the importance of implementing a pro-environmental policy in education to help prepare the next generation to combat the issue of climate change. If elected, Chu will advocate for the 30×30 land conservation model. Having witnessed the catastrophic effects of Superstorm Sandy on her South Brooklyn community, Chu is committed to push for legislation that improves local climate resiliency.
