Holly Vellano

Holly Vellano is running for re-election for Legislator in Schenectady County’s 4th district. She has served as a member of the board of directors for the County’s soil and water conservation district, helping to protect those precious resources. In her time as Legislator, Vellano has overseen many leaps in climate action; this includes the creation of several solar farms within the county, creating more accessible and varied modes of transportation, and the implementation of the re-tree project, which plants trees throughout the county each year. If elected, Vellano plans to focus on making the community more energy and resource efficient in regards to the climate smart communities pledge.
