Gordon Boyd

Gordon Boyd is running for County Supervisor for Saratoga Springs. He has a strong background in environmental protection and previously worked on environmental and energy legislation. In these prior roles, he advanced the State’s regulatory framework in the transition from hundreds of town dumps to a responsible hierarchy of waste and scrap materials management. In his own business,he helped establish group energy buying programs to advise stakeholders on the best energy supply and renewables buying choices. He also helped transition waste management in the state and worked as a consultant for an affordable housing initiative. Boyd plans to support the implementation of renewable energy sources, EV charging lots and working towards CSC certification. If elected, Boyd plans to prioritize sustainability and equity in land use and transportation programs, improve public transportation, and reduce dangerous and polluting truck traffic.
