Eve Meltzer Krief

Eve Meltzer Krief is running for Suffolk County District 18 legislator. As a pediatrician she knows environmental factors like toxins, heat, and poor air quality can severely affect children. As Legislative Advocacy Chair of the Long Island, Queens Brooklyn chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics she advocated for the passage of the Environmental Bond Act, which will need spending and investment oversight, and is currently advocating for passage of the Birds and Bees Protection Act, a top priority for NYLCV. If elected, she will work to electrify the county’s fleet and create requirements for parking lots to support electric vehicles.
