Ellen Rosano

Ellen Rosano is running for re-election as legislator for Albany County’s 24th district. Before her election to office, Rosano was the Town of Colonie Conservation Committee chair for ten years. During this time, the Town of Colonie became a Tree City USA member and achieved a Climate Smart Community designation. The committee also served as an educator to the community about environmental concerns. Recently, Rosano voted to support actions to support a solar array and to diversify and keep green businesses in Albany Co. If re-elected, Rosano plans to work to lift Albany County’s Clean Energy Community designation from a bronze level to a silver level.
