Debra Mule

Debra Mule is running for re-election as legislator of Nassau County’s 6th district. Mulé strongly believes in local environmental action. Mulé was a co-sponsor of the “Complete Streets Project.” Mulé also contributed to the Bay Park Conveyance Project, an effort to decrease the amount of nitrogen in Reynolds Channel and the Western Bays, which will restore the health of the aquatic ecosystems and marine life. Previously, she secured an amendment that protects environmentally sensitive lands (such as County land in Baldwin Harbor). If re-elected, Mulé is committed to being a voice for climate-friendly initiatives, such as energy-efficient upgrades in new construction and solar power requirements.
