Mulé was recently named to the bi-county Recycling Regional Task Force, an entity that focuses on devising and promoting waste reduction strategies. She supported and continues to advocate for the integration of alternative energy sources, such as wind and solar power, at county facilities. She helped approve a nearly $8 million Complete Streets” infrastructure project covering approximately three miles of Grand Avenue in Baldwin. Along with supporting sustainability efforts, she is helping to rehabilitate the currently blighted Oakwood Beach Club property in Baldwin and transform it for use as passive parkland. If re-elected, Mulé will continue her effort to establish a district-wide compost program while exploring the feasibility of community farming on portions of the Brookside Preserve.
